Alptra cares about your privacy and the security of your information. When you submit information to this website using contact form, we collect the data requested to communicate with you in order to track and respond to your submissions.

We commit to responding to all legitimate requests concerning your data within one month of receipt. This period may be extended by two further months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of the requests. We will inform you of any such extension within one month of receipt of the request, together with the reasons for the delay.

Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before responding to such requests.

Data Retention:
We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, and for a reasonable time thereafter to ensure compliance with our legal obligations (e.g., tax, legal claims), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted.

By accessing and using the Alptra mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not use the Service.

2. Access to Service and User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account, and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering and to update it as necessary.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features and functionality, including but not limited to the Alptra application, its underlying code, design, features, and the proprietary Glossary content, are and will remain the exclusive property of Alptra and its licensors.

The photographs and images used in the Service are covered by the Unsplash license or other explicitly mentioned licenses. Except for explicitly licensed elements, all information and content present on this website/application is protected by the copyrights held by Alptra.

Therefore, the information, including the Glossary content and specific translations, may not be reproduced, modified, republished, re-aired, translated, distributed or reused in any manner, without the express prior written consent of Alptra.

Alptra’s title, concept and form, as well as its content, contained within the Alptra website/application are the property of Alptra.

Some icons and graphics used on this website are sourced from third-party providers. The Proz, LinkedIn, and app icons are from Icons8 and are used in accordance with their licensing terms. We provide attribution to the creator by including a link to their page: LinkedIn Circled, Proz and Smartphone icons provided by Icons8.

4. Use of the Service and User Conduct

You agree to use the Service in a lawful manner and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in any way prohibited by these Terms.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the Service.
  • Introduce viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or any other malicious code.

  • Specifically regarding the Alptra Glossary: The content of the glossary is provided for your personal and educational use within the Service only. Any large-scale reproduction, commercial distribution, "scraping" (automated data extraction), or creation of a competing database based on the glossary's content is strictly prohibited.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

6. Disclaimer / No Warranties

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.

Alptra does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, nor that the results obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable.

In no event shall Alptra be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
