After I have received your order, I will review the instructions and analyse the source text to identify the context. I will prepare the necessary reference resources and translate your text with terminological research. After the translation, I proofread my own work with quality assurance checks of the linguistic quality, fluidity and terminology. If there’s anything you would like to change or ask after the delivery, I’m happy to help. I archive glossaries for each client.

I would ask you to send me your document in Word format. I favor this format simply because it allows me to include track changes. The “Review” mode will highlight any changes I make to your document, be they formatting, corrections and rewordings. This mode also allows me to add comments and suggestions for improvement, which appear as speech bubbles to the right of your text. When you receive your corrected document, you'll be able to accept or reject each of my corrections and rewording proposals. To find out the number of words in a document, check the word count displayed at the bottom left of the Word window. If your document is a PDF file, annotations will be included stating any mistakes or changes that you will need to make. On demand, revision may include checking historical and scientific references, such as quotations, dates, and bibliographies.

Verbatim transcription captures every spoken detail. All mistakes, hesitations, repetitions... will be kept. Whereas in edited transcription, your document will be transcribed and all mistakes, hesitations, repetitions... will be removed. I can handle all content in commonly used file formats such as MP3, MP4, WAV or AVI. Please make sure the audio is intelligible before sending me your files.

After I have received your document by email, I will provide a quotation the same day. I calculate my rates according to the number of words in the source text and the subject matter. After you have received your document, I will send you an invoice by email. Invoices should be paid within 30 days via bank transfer, Wise or Paypal.
